Zehra EFE Graduated from Aksaray Anadolu High School of Fine Arts in 2007. She obtained associate Degree from Dumlupinar University department of Fine Arts / Ceramic in 2008. She also obtained Bachelor degree of Arts Painting from Selcuk University in 2016. She has several years of experience in different Painting Studios.
During her studentship and for the following couple of years, Zehra Efe based her works on surreal images that emerged from her inner fluctuations caused by her search of self, with her intellectual momentum only just taking form. Althought her conceptual awareness hadn't yet manifested, the images in her initial paintings were the closest references of her expression throught direct figures.
Later on, she abandoned the figure and chose to arrange the canvas by splitting the surface. These arrangements mostly comprise triangles of all sizes and highlight the dominant harmony.
Canvases are the monumental characteristic of her works, by which Imean her ability to turn small pieces into large masses throught her use of dominant harmony. And anyway the young artist strives to use large physical infrastructures for her works so as to strengthen this monumental concept.
EXHIBITIONS
Since her student years, she has participated in exhibitions in many different disciplines. Her works were found very interesting in the exhibitions and appreciated by many people.
